  • How do I Ping a range of IP's from excel spreadsheet

How do I Ping a range of IP's from an excel spreadsheet and return the result as
either a reply or no reply and include data from adjacent cells on the result

ie. row C contains the ip I want to ping but I want to include row A and B in the
result, I only Need the No Reply, something like this
    Code:
     A B C D
    69 ADA 21 192.168.1.x No REPLY
    70th Trans 13 192.168.1.x No REPLY
BTW I'd like to create the result in a new spreadsheet

I dont know about Spreedsheet, but you can do it if you list the IP's in an CSV or TXT file.

Other then that, you could use a Network Scanner, like Nmap, that will allow you to do this with a GUI.

Personally, I would Delete Colom A,B and D, then export to CSV, then use batch file to do something like like whats on this page (2nd post) http://www.visualbasicscript.com/Rea...ng-m61746.aspx
