  • Script to deploy office 2007

    We have office 2003 installed on the machines that we need to upgrade it to 2007 except for access'
    So I have 3 commands the first to install office 2007 using MSP file
    The scound will uninstall office 2003, and then the last one is to install access 2003
    Code:
    msiexec.exe /p "\\Myserver\myshare\OFFICE2007\Office2007\Updates\Office2007.MSP"

    msiexec.exe /i "\\myserver\myshare\office2003\PRO11.MSI" TRANSFORMS="\\myserver\myshare\office2003\Access2003only.MST" /qb-

    I need to put all of those commands in a start up script that will wait till the installation of office 2007 completed then start the second part then the third part.

    i assume that u know how to use setup /admin ... so u can configure that office 2007 will uninstall any other office version exept acces that u need :P

      Thanks for your reply,
      Outlook 2007 was installed before on the WS so there is no way of using /admin to install the rest of office 2007. I had to use MSP and run the first command to install it.
