  • Windows Xp 64 Bit - SCRIPTS

    Hi All,

    I am Looking for the scripts for 64bit os to map the printer and set it to default and map the network dirves.

    Valuable assistance is appreciated.

    No particular difference between 64-bit and 32-bit OSes for most scripting
    With your guru powers, should be a doddle to find examples (or try our scripting forum)

      I am using this script for printing the map drive.

      Set objNetwork = CreateObject("WScript.Network")

      Dim objNetwork, strUNCPrinter1
      strUNCPrinter1= "\\computer share name LaserJet 1015"
      objNetwork.AddWindowsPrinterConnection struncPrinter1
      objNetwork.SetDefaultPrinter strUNCPrinter1
      .................................................. .......................
      but its not working am i doing any thing wrong.

        Well, strUNCPrinter1 should be in the format \\servername\sharedprintername and doesnt really like spaces

            Dont use spaces in the share name
