  • Error with DPM 2007 "pre-backup and Post Backup"

    Hi,
    I have a problem with a parameter "<PreBackupScript> and <PostBackupScript>"
    in the file "ScriptingConfig.xml"
    This is my script:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <ScriptConfiguration xmlnssi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
    xmlnssd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
    xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/2003/dl...tingConfig.xsd">
    <DatasourceScriptConfig DataSourceName="d:">
    <PreBackupScript>"d:\scripts\test1.cmd"</PreBackupScript>
    <PostBackupScript>"d:\scripts\test2.cmd"</PostBackupScript>
    <TimeOut>90</TimeOut>
    </DatasourceScriptConfig>
    </ScriptConfiguration>

    The tag "<PreBackupScript>"d:\scripts\test1.cmd"</PreBackupScript>" donīt
    work. I think the mistake this in the sintax.
    Please I need help!!
    Thanks
    Fabio

    Can you try using the UPN path instead of the Drive letter.

      Hi, Hetesh

      error: 30189 in pre-script.

      through the support of the Microsoft, we solved the problem applying SP1.
      This in the laboratory, they put in the production environment already had
      the sp1 and the problem persists. It should be some fails in the updatings

        Hetesh??

        "Make sure that the pre-backup script does not have any errors and can execute successfully."
        According to the error code lookup: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/l.../bb795681.aspx

        Cheers
