  • Script to check Updates being applied [Was: Windows Script]

Can anyone help me to develop a script which pull out the information on hotfixes/patches/SPs installed on a server.

Scenario: I have around 600 servers in my enviornment. I am using a third party tool to push the patches, some times patches are not installing properly.
I would like to check the servers using a script whether the specific KB patch is installed or not.

Please treat this as little urgent..................

    Hi,

What's the third party tool called? Doesn't it have a reporting function to tell you if the update was succesfull?
Wouldn't you consider using WSUS. It's free and very efficent.
I would also use it in conjunction with MBSA

As for the scripts, Here is a start: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/scr....mspx?mfr=true

    Cheers
