    Re: where user logged on.

--> thread moved to the scripting forum.

    roeer, search the scripting forum.

It is easy to determine who is logged on to a certain computer, by connecting to the computer with a script.
It is not easy to determine on which computers a group of users are logged on to, then you need to try if the script can make a connection to each of the computers in a group or ou. And when connected it can determine who is logged on.
Alternatively, you can write a logon-script that writes the logon information to a file on a central share on the network every time a user logging on to a computer.

      I've also come across this:http://windowsitpro.com/windowsscrip...ged-on-to.html

It queries the WINS server for the logged on users.
Although i tried it in Win 2003 and XP sp3 but it wasn't working.
I think it has something to do with the way NBTSTAT works after XPSP2.

But apart from that and what REMS suggested there is the third party tools such as: http://www.motivatesystems.com/User_Locator.asp
