  • Creating a shared folder in PHP for Windows 2003

I need to create a shared folder on a Windows 2003 Server. It ust be read accessible to Administrative users in the LAN. And to top it off I need to create the share in PHP (v 5.2). I have seen examples in VB to do this, but nothing in PHP.
    Any and all suggestions welcome!
    Thanks,
    Alan

With PHP you can run executables on the system - you need to run net share. Not sure about setting permissions at the command line, try SetACL from SourfeForge. If there's already a share that has the permissions you want you can use permcopy.
