    can someone provide me a script for Disabling Firewall Service Lockdown due to Logging Failures in ISA 2006.

    when i enable logging my ISA hangs and therefore i am not able to get the ISA reports. can someone help me with this issue.

    What kind of script are you looking for?
    And what for problems do you have with ISA. I would personally rather fix the issue with ISA then working arround it.

        thanks rem i did try that script but i think it does not work for isa 2006. actual problem i am facing is like this.

        when i enable firewall and web proxy logging system hangs with error code 5 from source microsoft isa server. i need to get the reports so as to see who is misusing internet in my company .

        please suggest a remedy for me .

          Error code 5 usally means access denied.
          Can you post a screenshot of it.

            Attached is the sequence of events recorded in event viewer when ISA hang after enabling logging . please help me as to resolve this issue at the earliest.

              Could you please post the attachment in a format other than a Word document. Not everybody will have a compatible reader installed, and those that do may be concerned about the risk of macro viruses, etc. If it is really necessary to attach a document, there are plenty of free PDF converters available.

                try this :

                Go to Configure Web Proxy Logging
                Press tab Fields
                Uncheck field "Referring Server"
                Save changes
