  • Set proxy server with vbs based upon client network address

Hi everyone - I've searched through the forums however I'm struggling to find a script that will configure a users proxy server setting based upon their client address.

For example - UserA has a network address of 192.168.5.0 - proxy should configure to PROXYA

When UserB logs onto the network who has a network address of 192.168.50.0 - proxy should configure to PROXYB

I realise there is a way of doing this with ISA - however I do not want to use this method.

Does anyone know of a way to do this?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Well I've found a script and made some modifications to it. I'll post it here next week.

With ISA server you could use the autoconfig url but glad you find it
