  • Automatically changing IP address when receiving print returns"requested time out"

    Hi Everyone,

I am a enduser. I connect to LAN network via some 2 to 3 static IP. The problem is that after some point of time I start getting "requested time out".

However If I switch my IP address(the last number, without changing the gateway either) and then switch back again to the same IP address, it starts working fine. (for example if 10.10.11.123 is changed to 10.10.11.124 and then back to for example 10.10.11.123)

I am not sure why this is happening(and not sure whether I have control to fix it, since I am not an sys administrator).

    Here are my questions:
    1) Can I create a batch file which runs in the back ground and checks for the "5 RTO" message and automatically switches the IP to that present in the list. (I know we can use netsh command to import and export, I am thinking of putting it into a batch file)

    2) or is there any better way to fix my problem

    Thanks for all your help!
