  • neet help with script

    Hello,

I could use some helpl with a script to log me into a network and attach to various shares. They are using Server 2003, and I bring my own machine in.

There script looks like this now:

    Set objNetwork = CreateObject("WScript.Network")
    objNetwork.MapNetworkDrive "J:" , "\\server2003\c\Photo"
    objNetwork.MapNetworkDrive "K:" , "\\server2003\c\accpac"
    objNetwork.MapNetworkDrive "L:" , "\\server2003\c\wp"
    objNetwork.MapNetworkDrive "m:" , "\\server2003\c\home"
    objNetwork.MapNetworkDrive "N:" , "\\server2003\c\excel"
    objNetwork.MapNetworkDrive "O:" , "\\server2003\d\old data"
    objNetwork.MapNetworkDrive "X:" , "\\server2003\c\wgpo0000"
    objNetwork.MapNetworkDrive "z:" , "\\server2003\c\public"

But I use Vista home, and I have to press the start button in vista, choose network, find the server, double-click it to get it to prompt me to log into it. Once I do that, if I run the script above, it will successfully map all those drives.

What I would rather do is simply have the script log me in and run that script. My log in name on this machine doesn't match their id for me. So I need to create a scripted login that states my user name and password and then maps those drives.

The name of their server is simply, 'server2003'.

I am guessing this is simple for you guys but I can't find the answer where I search. Perhaps I am not using the correct terms.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Best,

    Alex

If I understand the question correctly, you want to map drive with credentials ?
