I want to install JRE as part of a script
    But the script failes:

    Start "%Ipath%\X64\JRE\jre-6u5-windows-x64.exe" /S /v /qn
the script fails with '/S' Unknown parameter, i even tried '/s' but that doesn't make a difference.

    Any help is greatly appriciated!

      Nope, no such luck...
Tried it and gotten explainatory message telling me that /S /v /qn are the correct switches for a silent installation

            Re: Quiet Installation

Ok, the installation is working, but i'm running into another issue.
The java install is a requisite for Citrix PS4, but the installation starts before the java install completes. As a result the PS4 installation fails. How can i pause the script to wait for the java install to finish?

              Re: Quiet Installation

              Start "" /wait "%Ipath%\X64\JRE\jre-6u5-windows-x64.exe" /S /v /qn

              or

              Start ""/min /w "%Ipath%\X64\JRE\jre-6u5-windows-x64.exe" /S /v /qn

              perhaps?

                Re: Quiet Installation

I know, i should somethimes type /? instead of posting my questions on forums (saves typing). Sorry about that.
Well the scripts tuns up to run great, the scrips is used for a unattended Citrix installation.

Might be off some interest for some people:

When using an unattended, use the java package delivered with the CD, using another package may result that the CMC is not installed after the unattended installation is complete.
