  • Mapping a network drive for use by a service

Hello I have the same request.

My OS's are the following :

    - As400 (iseries) for the os sharing the folder (but you can think of a windows machine in another domain)

    - Windows 2003 for the host where the mapping has to be done.

When loggin with an account, it's easy, "map a network drive" , specify UNC path and alternate credentials and check reconnect at logon.
An other way is to use "net use" and specify crdential and path.

But I did not found a way to get the mapping created for use by a service. How to get my "net use" script executed when nobody logs on (whithout using gpo machine script).

    Any idea ?
