  • vb script returning Open File-Security Warning

    Hi

    these are extracts from batch file we are using for users.

    @echo off
    net time \\192.168.0.1 /SET /Y
    copy \\192.168.0.2\scripts$\con2prt.exe c:\windows\system32\ /y
    con2prt /cd \\192.168.0.15\HPShared1
    \\192.168.0.2\scripts$\hardening.vbe

    the script runs fine, but when it comes to \\192.168.0.2\scripts$\hardening.vbe, it opens Open File-Security Warning asking for whether to allow script to run or not.

    I want users should not get this prompt & script should run.

    Thanks
    Cheers!!

      did you download this script from the internet or another computer? Browse to where the script is located, Right click it, properties, and if you see the word unblock near advanced click it. let us know if that works.

      EDIT:
      you must have posted that response like 2 seconds before i hit submit, glad to hear your problem is fixed.
