  • Remotely.Power.on.and.Shutdown.Clients

Situation: 2003 AD domain with 1,500+ XP clients.
Task: Perform remotely poweron and shutdown clients.

My XP clients have Wake On Lan capability but I don't know which free third party software is good for that.

For shutting down all of the clients at anytime please advise me of how to do it. Thanks

Just search google for "wake on lan magic packet".
There is a bunch of free utilities that can do WOL.

http://www.depicus.com/wake-on-lan/ seams to suite your needs.
