  • delprof bat file

I have a simple text list of computers 'computers.txt'

I try to run the command below

    C:\>For /f %a in (computers.txt) Do Delprof.exe /r /i /C:\\%a

    command produces what is below

    C:\>For /f %a in (computers.txt) Do Delprof.exe /r /i /C:\\%a

    C:\>Delprof.exe /r /i /C:\\datalog-01

    Delete inactive profiles on \\SNIFFER? (Yes/No) y

    C:\>Delprof.exe /r /i /C:\\datalod-02

    Delete inactive profiles on \\SNIFFER? (Yes/No) y

    C:\>Delprof.exe /r /i /C:\\datalog-03

    Delete inactive profiles on \\SNIFFER? (Yes/No) y

It asks if i want to delete from the list, so it picks up the txt file, but then it asks if i want to delete profile from the local machine?
No profiles were deleted form the cpomputers in the list.

I'm new to this scripting thing

    Any offers
    Dave

    Re: delprof bat file

And it should not delete the profiles from the computer! that is correct since you use the /r switch.

The message is incorrect though, it should have asked:
Delete the roaming profile cache from \\computer? (Yes/No).
(Local profiles on the machine will not be deleted)

Is this what you want to do?
