  • Invalid number of parameters

    Hello, I've downloaded jailbreak for PS3 and I have to use a windows batch file to copy files to usb flash. I'm new to this so pardon my lack of knowledge. When I run the file, after I enter drive letter it tells me: Invalid number of parameters. Here is the script, please tell me if theres something I can do to fix it

    @echo off
    echo.
    echo ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
    echo PSJailbreak USB Creation Tool
    echo ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
    echo.
    :LOOP
    set /p drive= What drive would you like to install the jailbreak to? :
    set directory= %CD%

    IF NOT EXIST %drive%: (
    echo Drive %drive% does not exist!
    GoTo :LOOP
    )

    IF EXIST %drive%: (
    echo Drive exists...

    echo Preparing Drive...
    xcopy %CD%\mem %drive%:/mem
    gpupdate /force
    echo Copying files to directory...
    xcopy %CD%\ps %drive%:/boot0
    xcopy %CD%\GUI %drive%:/root
    xcopy %CD%\Board %drive%:/massboard
    xcopy %CD%\lib %drive%:/lib
    xcopy %CD%\core-cpu %drive%:/core-cpu

    echo Success
    )
    pause

    Re: Invalid number of parameters

    is the drive you're sending the jailbreak to (I assume it's an sD Card) formatted?

      Re: Invalid number of parameters

      You should change the forward slashes to backslashes in your xcopy paths. See if that fixes your problem.

        Re: Invalid number of parameters

        Looking at the script it seems to require 2 parameters -- %CD% (optical drive?) and %drive% (sd card)
        Are you running it with two switches?

          %CD% is the current directory and is always defined and %drive% was set in the script:
          Code:
          set /p drive= What drive would you like to install the jailbreak to? :
          xcopy uses the forward slash to indicate a parameter.
