  • Copying a directory to multiple computers

Hello, I have a directory that I need to copy and then paste into several computers that are on my network. I am having a little trouble trying to figure out how to do so as a batch file. I figured that Xcopy would be the best way to do so but I don't know how to input that I want to copy form one computer the a batch of computers. Thanks for the input.

The folder on the remote computers should be shared for the user who is running the job. If the user is a member of the local administrors group on all computer it is possible to use the administrative share for the drive on the computer which is shared by default.

You can use xcopy (type xcopy /? for help), or use robocopy.
