    Re: Pink Screen error

Exception 14 means the VMware kernel is unable to service a page fault; it's unable to (re)load a piece of memory (a "page") that was previously swapped out to disk.

There's no way to tell just from the information on the screen exactly what the problem might be, but paging issues are usually an indication of hard drive failure. It could also be an issue with the disk controller or the motherboard or even the RAM, but it's pretty safe to assume that a hardware issue is involved.

Are you using the custom HP ESXi image?

I'm not sure it was all installed before I started with the company. I know we have the same HW in every location and this is the first time they have had this error

Isn't that pretty typical of hardware failure? Everything works fine, and then one day it doesn't?

Is this the only host on this site?

If not can the load be moved to other hosts and this one rebuilt?

Download HP's ESXi images from here
