  • Windows 7 32 bit does not find drivers

I have tried to install a 32 bit operating system on a virtual machine host, however, it appears that it is not possible to find all the drivers, and, I realize that the drivers cannot be found, so I am not sure whether Windows 7 64 bit (guest) is the problem as I am understanding that 64 bit operating systems should support 32 bit operating system, unless there is some underlying issue with the software.

Is this a problem with VMWare workstation or the operating system?

Certainly not a problem in HyperV, so probably VMWare specific.
Moving this thread to VMWare forum for better response, but please let us know which version of VMWare workstation (and on what host OS)

      Its the operating system.

You have obviously changed the disk format from the standard installation so will require the drivers. Same as pretty much any installation on hardware that Windows does not recognize, especially with storage controllers.
