  • Permission Error

    hi all.
    i have ESXi 5.5. i want to add new host and i want to connect to Vcenter 5.5 from vspher 5.5 .but i have this message :
    The vspher client could not connect to .... you do not have permission to login to the server

    It may have removed permissions for local identity sources. try loging in with the default master credentials ie vsphere.local\Administartor and

    add the instances. The below KB should be helpful.

          have you prevously been able to logon to vcentre using those details ?
          does anyone else have management access on your network that could have amended permissions ?
          has anything been changed ? (new patches, removed patches, new guests, removed guests, new host in the cluster, ANYTHING)
