  • VMFS-5 limit

    Hi all,

I've got 5TB+ on the physical raid 5 which also has raid 1 with ESXi 5.1 on it.

I'm now trying to create the datastore on the raid 5 but it only allows up to 2TB in the file size.

Is ther a way to increase this? or do I need to separate it individually? I can't even make separate datastore on this 5TB....

The file size limit is 2TB -512b.

You should be able to create a 5TB datastore though as the maximum size for that is 64TB from memory.
