ESXI requirements ?

  • ESXI requirements ?

    Hey friends ,

    how i can know if my HW is good enough to run ESXI or no , or the number of the VMs that i can run on it . is there's any pro to do that. for EX. i have two HP prolaint dl380 g5 8g ram for each one , one cpu Intel Xeon E 5120, 1.80GHz for each one .

    is that enough to run 5 servers 2003 every one 2g ram .

        There is no magic number.

        From the RAM perspective you should be fine - 10GB RAM Used (16GB available).
        Next you should check CPU usage on these Servers. Will the CPU usage of your 5 2003 VM's fit on 2 dual Cores.
        Same for Disk space and network usage as well.

        According to this it looks like your CPU will ESXi
