  • ESXi Help with hardware.

    Hi,

I'm looking to implement a test Vsphere server, it would be a custom machine and not from a machine from a manufacture. It has to be around the 350-400 mark.

Any ideas on what CPU, MOBO and ram would be best ?

    Thanks

have a look at the specs of the hardware on the HCL for the Tier1 servers - that'll give you an idea

If 8GB of RAM will do for the VMs you want to run, you should definitely consider a HP Proliant Microserver from ebuyer - an amazing deal with 100 cashback...
