  • Vmware-mount utility and Windows Explorer

    Hi

I installed the VMware Virtual Disk Development Kit on Windows 7 SP1 Ultimate 64-bit.

If I run this command from the command prompt:

    Code:
    C:\Windows\System32>"C:\Program Files (x86)\VMware\VMware Virtual Disk Development Kit\bin\vmware-mount.exe" T: "D:\Users\Public\Documents\Virtual Machines\VM_test\Windows_7_SP1_64_bit\Windows_7_SP1_64_bit.vmdk" /v2 /m:w

I can see the contents of the virtual disk in the command prompt window. When, however, I run Windows Explorer, the T: drive is not displayed. Why?

    Thanks

    Bye

Are you running the command prompt as administrator?
