  • Vcenter logs filling up need help asap!!!!

    Vcenter server logs are filled up and i need to shrink them however i do not have sql 2005 manager installed and sql 2005 is sp2 and it was installed on a windows 2008 r2 server.

    If you have SQL 2005 you must have SQL Server Management Studio, or at least you can install it. As long as it can see the VCentre instance of SQL it can manage it. If you are using SQL Express, there is a free download (can't remember the name -- advanced management or similar) which gives you SSMS.

    There is also (or used to be, anyway) an evaluation edition of SQL server, or you could use SQLCMD
