  • VMWare server 2 is not recovering from network failure

I have a host server running vmware server 2 on windows server 2008. the virtual machine files reside a network storage device conencted through the network. This works well from bandwidth point of view. The problem i have is the network connectivity to NAS drops at times and the virtual machines immediates crashes. The vmware server web interface shows this error message shown below. As soon as I hit retry all the virtual machines returns and starts to work from where it was left.

I was wondering is there a way I can automate clicking retry button by changing the script or something?

    Thanks guys!

If the file resides on a remote file system, please make sure your network connection and the server where this disk resides are functioning properly. If the file resides on removable media, reattach the media.
Choose Retry to attempt the operation again.
Choose Abort to terminate this session.
Choose Continue to forward the error to the guest operating system.
