  • Windows 7 under VMWare View 4

    Hi,

Have a problem, hopefully someone has come across this or can point me in the right dirction.

Running ESXi 3.5 and 4.0 and VMware View 4, under our existing desktop XP, everything is working well, however we now wish to start replacing the VMware View machines with Win7 (64 bit) machines.

Have built a machine, but the vmware tools refuse to be loaded on to the machine, and obviuosly need them prior to getting VMware view to add it into the desktop pool.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    S

    Just a question.
    Are you using separate datacenters?
    Is the ESX 3.5 patched?
