  • Router Virtual Appliance

    Hey All,

I was hoping folks here could recommend a good (and hopefully free) router virtual appliance? I need to create and test and AD structure will multiple sites using DFS and was hoping to do it in my ESX sandbox.

    TIA,

Another one also worth looking at is Untangle. As this is just to provide NAT for a lab setup then either should meet your requirements.

Any linux install will get you what you're looking for quick and easy. Also free as you've requested. But alas, not in an appliance. So I'll second Vyatta as I just spent some time reviewing it but deciding on the custom linux route. Best of luck. -Ravi Shanghavi, Ottawa
