Re: creating a additional data storage

-ash not found suggests that your command interpretter (called ASH)
could not be found. ASH, like BASH, CSH and CASH, are similar to dos command prompts.

Are you entering that command from an elevated account (# instead of $)
try entering th fully qualifed path instead and see if that happens

            Hi ,

While trying to search in vmware site i come to this link

            http://download3.vmware.com/demos/da...ryDemo_R2.html

this video we can easily shows that while opening inventory ..backup store clearly shows under the inventory - solution --backup ....

but in my case after inventory tab - administration tab .. there are 2 tabs roles and backup only...

what can be the issue in my case....

            Also while surfing this link
            http://communities.vmware.com/docs/DOC-8760

            it writes that download ghettoVCB.tar.gz

but from where we can download this ...

is it really this much hard to take data storage back up ...is there any nice backup solution as same as ntbackup in windows...

            please help...

Can you please post a screen shot of what you have under the configuration tab -> storage adapters.

What are the adapters you have there?
What are the disks recognized in the details pane underneath?
