  • VMWare ESXi Datastore with extents missing

    Hi,

    ML350 G2
    Running VMWare ESXi.

    SCSI Channel A
    80GB drive where I have created Datastore01

    SCSI Channel B
Six drives which comprise of 80GB, 80GB, 80GB, 150GB, 300GB, 300GB where I have created Datastore02 on the first 80GB and added the rest as extents giving me a rough total of 900GB

    Datastore 01
    Is used for VMs

    Datastore02
Is used for storing data. (from this datastore i add a drive to the VM, then boot up VM (running SERVER 2003) initialize the disk, format it as NTFS and dump data to it.

    Problem:
Drives were pulled out for a quick clean and once put back in and booted up Datastore01 exists however, Datastore02 does not show up in VI Client, under storage adaptors it lists them as individual disks. I have about 800GB of data I cannot access any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards,
