  • Allow 3 networks access to 1 without allowing access to each other

Hi, i am new to virtualization and need your advice.

    I have 3 machines(users) in network 9.x.x.x and these 3 are supervisor.
I have another server a installed vm and will install 3 guest os inside with different network.

    A - Nokia - 10.x.x.x
    B - Sony - 192.x.x.x
    c - Motorola - 172.x.x.x

now I wish to use that 3 machines to access that 3 guest through vmware server. Can you please tell me how do i make sure there is no security breach ? ( e.g. a, b, c network computers can access back to 9.x.x.x ) Thanks.

Re: Super newbie question : how to make this happen

its not really about virtualization, it about security
let say one of VM guests name is D and you want allow A access to D,but D shouldn't have access to A,right?

if so it not really matter if D is VM or standard computer, A should have firewall installed or there should be firewall between A and D that prevent D access A,while allow A access to D

this sounds like Access Control Lists on the interfaces of your router....
