  • VM Nic teaming

    Two part question.

    1. Within a 2003 VM- is ther a way to enable nic teaming (think HP nic teaming)-- this not Host nic teaming..

    2. Would it be beneficial to do? This machine will be a webserver for about 150 clients.

    thanks in advance

Do I understand correctly that you want to do NIC teaming on the guest?
What are you trying to achieve with this?

the reason for NIC teaming is that for failover right ? in case one NIC failed or the cable goes bad, the connection still working.

There is no reason to do the teaming in the guest and you will not get any benefit from doing so.

Teaming should be done on the host. especially if you are using esx/esxi
