  • Problems running a game on VMware

    Hi,
I have a macbook (the last generation of the white macbooks with 4 GB RAM) and I use VMware fusion and wanted to play the game 'Blood Omen II' (2002) on WinXP.
I also installed DirectX 8.1 but everything moves so slowly in the game. That makes no fun.

The system requirements are a Pentium III (or equivalent) 450 MHz processor
    128 RAM
    Windows 98/ME/XP
    8X CD-ROM
Direct X 8.1 (included on disk)
Direct X compliant video card with 16 MB of VRAM
    Direct X compliant sound card
850 MB of Hard Drive Space
    Keyboard and Mouse

I know its not a windows pc but perhaps you know what to do to get it worked.
I hope you can help me

    Kain

VMware isnt designed for that. Install it natively or use a newer version of Direct X. Im sure 8.1 is pretty old now.
