Presumably by "VM Workstation" you mean the product you are using is VMware Workstation - if not, you need to tell us that.

The product documentation and Google will tell you everything you need to know.

Thats dependant on "how" you configure the Nics on the virtual host. Your options are Bridged (which is a virtual connection to you're physical network) NAT, Host Only and no Nics at all.You can create a "Team" if you are using Workstation Version 6 upwards. This makes it easier when starting up a "team" of VM's that have been configured to "talk" to each other. As already said though RTFM. Workstation is farily self explanatory.

Step 1) Buy enough licences. on your volume licence - if the licences are retail or OEM you will need to add Step 3a...
Step 2) Copy the virtual hard disks.
Step 3) Change the SIDs of the cloned virtual machines.
Step 3a) If the licences are retail or OEM, change the serial key used for machines as necessary so that each serial key is not used on more machines than it is licensed for.

I do not recommend following this procedure over installing each machine from scratch.
