  • Two choices for vmware server

Hi all, quick question I want to run Vmware Server 2 (linux) on some hardware, but can't work out which one is the better of the two machines i have sitting around...

    My two choices atm.

    a. Dual processor P3 1GHz with 2 GB RAM and 2x 10k 146gb HDD
    b. Single processor P4 2.4GHz with 2GB RAM and SATA 7200rpm HDD

what do u think ?? which the dual processor would be better.

    Thx

I would think option one - because in general you most probably will not hit a limit on your CPU but you will on RAM
And your HD are also faster
