  • Consolidate Snapshots without running out of space

Hello everyone. I seem to have made a pretty nasty rookie mistake on my VMWare ESXi 3.5 server. I have 2 VM's installed on the one datastore. The problem is I have created 4 snapshots of one server without deleting them. Now I am at a point where I have 16GB free on the datastore and need to delete the snapshots but my research tells me I don't have enough free space on the datastore to do this. My 4 delta files are 620MB, 6GB, 30GB, and 66 GB.

Do ya'll have any advice on the best way to fix this?

use vmware converter to convert to a new VM, and remove the old one.

I t will consolidate all the snapshots into one vmdk file.
