ESX 3.5 on VmWare W/s 6.0

  • ESX 3.5 on VmWare W/s 6.0

    I have a slow bootup for ESX 3.5 running on Vmware w/s 6.04 build 93057 on AMD Opetron 165 dual core skt 939. Disk are configured to use Nvidia raid drivers, and Host OS =WinXP, I just need this going so that I can do my labs etc.
    Mobo is Asus A8NSLI.

    The config file for my ESX server is:

    Is VT enabled in the BIOS
    and this article will help along the way..

      Thanks Maish,

      I just found out VT is not supported on Gen 1 Opteron CPU's, so I need to upgrade mobo and Cpu to 2nd/3rd Gen.
