  • I can't connect my guest PC to the Internet

    Hello

My host computer runs Windows XP Professional SP2 IP:10.0.0.1
I installed Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition in the guest PC IP:10.0.0.5
    My Router Address is 10.0.0.138

I'm using VMWare Workstation ACE Edition

From my guest PC I can reach the host PC and the Router (by pinging) but I can't connect to the Internet, which is a problem because I have 14 days to activate the OS.
I configured the virtual Ethernet both as Bridged and NAT without success.

I hope you can help with this.

    Thanks in advance

Re: I can't connect my guest PC to the Internet

Use bridged networking and then please provide an IPCONFIG /all for both the host and the guest.

Also be sure the VMware bridging protocol is bound to the pNIC of your host.

      Thanks,
      Jas
