  • Ethernet bridging in guest

    host has xp sp2 and guest has xp sp2 and Ethernet is bridged
    i m on LAN, my LAN ip is something like this and net is working fine in guest in vmware too and guest has one lan card mad by vmware now i want to creat 2nd lan card in guest by vmware and do the bridge connection between these two lan cards in guest vmware but as i go for this, it does not let me to do bridge connection, it's not working. what's wrong here, ?

    You mean beside posting the question in the wrong forum? I don't know, maybe the guys in VMWare forum can help...

      What is the IP address of your NIC in your guest?

      Is is allocated by DHCP or a static address?
