  • quick ESXI OS drive question

In a continuation of my last post regarding the subject, I had one more question. Would the gain be worth it of putting the main OS on two raptors in raid 1, or would it be just as good to put the OS on a pair of 80g drives in raid 1. I am definatly looking at raid 5 for the vm's themseves.

Agreed - non-issue. RAID1 and be done. About the most it needs to keep up with is the logging.
