  • install centOS 5 on VMWare 2 unable to boot

    hi,
I installed VMWare 2 on my centOS 5 server and sucessfully created one windows 2003 server VM, but after I creat second VM and tried to install CentOS 5 as Guest OS, I just can't start Guest OS the installation process, no matter I use Host media or ISO file.
after power on the VM, from the console I only see:
    IOSLINUX 3.11 2005-09-02 Copyright (C) 1994-2005 H. Peter Anvin
    and nothing happen after that.
and I checked my Host OS the CPu is strike to 102% after I power on the second VM.
    thanks in advance!

    VMware Server 2.0 Beta?

What happens if you shut off the Windows Server 2003 VM and then try to start up your CENTOS VM?

I tried, same. and the centOS DVD media is the one I used to install the Host OS.
