  • Free ESX Security Scanner

Hello, Just an FYI I came across recently. Tripwire and VMware co-developed a free version of Tripwire's ConfigCheck for ESX 3.5 servers. It's worth a look http://www.tripwire.com/configcheck

Sounds interesting did run it and it gives you an idea of different things that should/could be considered.

    Thanks for the tip.

The latest weekly VMware roundtable podcast discusses this product. I normally sit in on the weekly VMware roundtable podcasts but I missed last week due to an offsite meeting.

Do you mean you listen to it, or actually speak on the podcast itself?

I'm on the podcasts with John Troyer. I'm one of the panelists.

I'm probably going to miss this week as well because I have 2 hour datacenter walkthrough that conflicts with the podcast recording session.
