  • Confusion on Multipathing

    Hi,

I have a little doubt on multipathing - suppose a LUN is presented to an ESX host "A" and on rescanning it shows that LUN as vmhbaxx:a:b; there is another LUN is presented to another ESX host "B" and on rescanning it shows it as vmbhayy:d:e; now if these both LUNs are presented to a third ESX host then on rescanning how will I come to know that which LUN is shared with host "A" and which LUN is shared with "B"?

    Thanks in advance!

    Re: Confusion on Multipathing

multipath is a redundant path to a LUN, the LUN itself doesn't change
