Is anyone out there using Virtual IRON?

I heard it has 90% of the functionality of VMware ESX at 30% of the price.

I am just curious if anyone has used it and what they thought of it, as compared to VMware ESX.

never heard of virtual IRON, but i do know of Zen which can be run like ESX and supports linux and windows virtualization (with appropriate hardware) and Zen is free.

      Re: Virtual IRON

Had VI come into the office for an overview and demo. Basically, it's based on the Xen hypervisor and it requires that the virtualized boxes to have the Intel VT or AMD equivalent technology. Looks very good and comparing it VMware, especially, pricing...can't beat it.
