virtual pc 2007 64 bit problem
    hi!

i use build 7100x64 and installed virtual pc 2007 for x64 with sp1.
i mounted the windows server 2008 r2 and booted. But I get this error:

    File: \windows\system32\winload.exe
    Status: 0xc000035a
Info: Attempting to load a 64-bit application, however this CPU is not
    compatible with 64-bit mode.

Is there a solution for this problem?

    Re: VirtUAL pc 2007 Question

Virtual PC 2007 doesnt support 64 bit guests. If you plan on configuring 64 bit guest systems, you'll need to use another product, such as VMWare, or VirtualBox as an example.

If your Computer support Virtualization(VT) then you can run 64BIT OS on VirtualBox or Vmware workstation.

        Re: VirtUAL pc 2007 Question

        Hi,

Your current system supports only 32 bit versions of OS. So even if you go for a 64 bit os on a Virtual Machine. the 2008 -64 bit versions may not load up.

          Re: VirtUAL pc 2007 Question

Even if the host machine OS is 64bit, it will not run 64 bit guests. Virtual PC is not going to be around a lot longer. For 64bit systems, you'll need to use Hyper-V, VMWare, or VirtualBox.

Re: Virtual PC running Server 2008 with Win7 and WinXP clients

            Firewall settings, almost certainly.
Try disabling on client and see if you can ping, if not, disable on server too
