  • Have to install 64bit OS in VMWare Workstation 7

I want to install a 64 bit version of Operating System on Window 7 64 bit Laptop. I tried it by using VPC2007, VMWare and VirualBox. But it was failure and saying 64 bit can not be installed on a 32 bit processor. My laptop have a processor Intel Core2Duo P7350.
I installed and run the Intel Processor Utility, and the result is
    Intel Virtulization Technology -- No
    Intel Hyper-Treading Technology--No
    Intel 64bit Architecture--Yes
My operating system is Windows7 Ultimate N 64bit.
    Please Help me for this.....
I want to install Windows Server 2008r2 virtually on my laptop..
    Thanks in advance....

are you running Windows 7 x64 as the host?

Also - you don't have VT technology, I don't think it's going to work anyway

this is for ESX3.5, but for Vmware products, I'd say the same applies

not if your cpu does not have the relevant VT or AMD-V support

Does not installing VMWare on a 64bit version of Windows 7 allow you to install 64bit Guest software?
              1 1 was a racehorse.
              2 2 was 1 2.
              1 1 1 1 race 1 day,
              2 2 1 1 2
