  • Backing up a Virtual DC

Could anyone recommend a backup agent inside the virtual machine that can backup the (open) virtual machine files?

    Thanks

    What OS is it?
What backup do you use on the host?

Oh yeah, that would help. Server 2003

On the host it just happens to be our Backup Exec 2010 server, also 2003.

IMHO you cannot go far wrong with NTBackup to a share on the host, then back that up with BUExec.

Alternatively put the BUExec agent on the guest VM
