  • VS Cluster Issue.

So I have a weird issue.
we have two seperate clusters setup on an ibm bladecenter.
one is a two node, (with AMD blades) and one is a three node (with intel blades)
we use the cluster to host virtual machines.
everything is working 100% except for one minor detail
vm's on the same node, can not see other vm's on that same node.

we have many (about 30) other virtual servers and this is not an issue on any of them. so it is either something due to the blade center, or due to the cluster.
it's not a firewall issue, as all the firewalls are disabled.
when I failover a node it starts working right away. so I know it's not configuration in the vm's.

all vm's have unique mac addresses as well.
    any thoughts anyone?
    Thanks.

    Re: VS Cluster Issue.

check connectivity for vswitch and maybe vlan
if you insert the blade in another slot, does the problem persist?
    are the cables intact?
