  • "Weird" characters displaying during boot [was: Red Hat Linux]

i installed Red Hat Linux 9, but for some reason, when it starts at the bootscreen, it gets weird letters, stuff like that I can't understand. I set it to graphics mode.

    How can I fix it?

We get weird posts that I don't understand and I can't fix that either. Perhaps if you could post more information about your weird problem someone may be able to help.

      Ok

Right when I finish Red Hat Linux 9 Installation, the bootscreen appears. The characters are definitely messed up. like a J is a part j. I used Graphics Bootup.

It says username, password, but I can't go in. All I know is how to fix the bootscreen.

Can you post a screenshot? If it is in a virtual environment a screen capture should work. Also, post the image as a JPG. (Capture, post into Paint and edit where necessary). Upload to here when finished.
